To achieve this, in January 2022 SPCA partnered with CATNZ (Companion Animals Trust New Zealand) to provide desexing grants to eligible organisations across the country.
CATNZ was selected to administer the grant and provide impartiality and transparency on the selection of successful applicants. CATNZ is dedicated to supporting projects beneficial to the community, those that provide care and protection to companion animals, and projects that directly improve companion animal welfare and urban animal management.
